We have had more publicity about the book on the internet and in a few newspapers with regard to an article called "Common Age Misconception About Down Syndrome", you can even find it on the National Down Syndrome Society web site.  We are currently working on sending out packets with the book to try to get more attention for the book and funds for the school project.  Those packets should go out before the end of August.  I will keep you informed.  Meanwhile, Riley just hugs and kisses on his little brother Noah and they are getting along wonderfully.  I am trying to update the pictures on this site.  Thank you everyone for your support.

Riley has a new brother, Noah Reid was born on January 17, 2006 .  He has all his fingers and toes and cute as a button.  Congratulations.

4/07/2006 - We are moving along with this building fund and still need lots of support and money.

As some of you know, Sunshine School in Searcy, Arkansas is in need of a new facility. Plans have been approved and we need your support.  We have already seen an outpouring of generosity from some of Searcy's generous residents, but alot more is needed and we are asking for your help.  Please mark your calendars for April 23, 2005,  there is a fundraiser in the works for that date to bring this dream closer to reality.  It appears, from the preliminary planning that there will be something for everyone and it will be a wonderful opportunity for you to help provide a safe, healthy environment for these children with your donations.  I will be there with books to sell and autograph and the proceeds will go to the Sunshine School Building Fund.  I will post more information as it is available.  Hope to see you there!

There have been two fund raising events and they have both been in Searcy at the park.  We are very encouraged with the money and gifts that have been donated.  There still is a lot left to do and we still need quite a bit of money for the building.  Your generosity has been outstanding, let's keep up the momentum.

I am also trying to increase book sales to generate more revenue to donate to this project.  I believe my book will be available at a couple of local book stores in Searcy very soon.  I will keep you updated.
